Our History

Mullaghmeen Baptist Church started in 1989 with seven Christian families meeting in each other's homes to pray and encourage one another. Today many families have found a home in the church across the road from the rugby club.

We Believe in...

  • The verbal inspiration and total inerrancy of the Bible
  • The Trinity of the Godhead: Father, Son & Holy Spirit
  • The essential deity and perfect humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ
  • Jesus’ virgin birth, sinless life and sacrificial death on the cross for our sins
  • Jesus’ burial, bodily resurrection, and ascension to heaven
  • The fallen and sinful state of man
  • The justification of the sinner through faith alone in Jesus Christ
  • The work of the Holy Spirit in regenerating the sinner, indwelling, sanctifying and empowering him to live a holy life
  • The personhood of the devil, his evil activity, and final doom
  • The local church as a company of baptised believers, gathered together under the headship of Christ
  • The ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
